What are we going to cover: We will learn how to apply Tajweed rules (The art of reciting Quran), will be inspired by the incredible meanings and teachings from Surat Al-Kahf, and we will be able to participate in Tajweed Online Competition in Ramadan 1446H In Shaa Allah (This Competition is NOT in memorization. It is in reciting Quran with Tajweed).
Who can join: This is for Sisters only 15 years old and above.
Who will teach: The main Instructure is Dr. Suher Khirallah. She is a Certified Quran Teacher who has been teaching Quran for more than 30 years, Hold a master's degree in Arabic language, and a doctorate in interpretation and Qur’anic sciences.

The Muslim Youth Magazine Team is happy to invite all aspiring writers and creative minds in our vibrant youth community to be part of our upcoming publication in June 2024 In Shaa Allah. This is an incredible opportunity for our youth to showcase their talent, creativity, and love for Islam through the power of the written word.
We invite students of all ages to contribute their thoughts, poems, stories, essays, research work, and reflections on Islamic topics or themes related to Islam. Whether it's a personal narrative, a heartfelt poem, or a thought-provoking essay, we welcome your unique perspectives and voices.
With the summer break just around the corner, we encourage parents to inspire their children to engage in meaningful activities, such as writing for our magazine. It's a fantastic way for them to utilize their time productively while expressing their thoughts and creativity.
As our publication coincides with Eid ul Adha, we would like to encourage submissions related to this auspicious occasion, including reflections on Eid ul Adha, the blessed 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, and the significance of the Day of Arafat.

Islamic Society of Greater Lafayette is pleased to announce a Quran Competition in Ramadan 1445H/2024.
Quran Competition will be held on March 29 & 31, 2024, at ISGL Masjid In Shaa Allah.
Each participant will be tested alone according to his/her level.
Any participant is allowed to level up his/her Memorization level.
Memorization Competition:
Level1: Up to 2nd Grade Students, Surat Al-Ala, Surah#87
Level2: 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Students, Surat At-Takwir, Surah #81
Level3: 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Students, Surat Al-Qalam, Surah #68
Level4: High School Students, Surat Al-Waqiah; Surah#56
Level5: College Students, Surat Al-Fath, Surah #48
Reading with Tajweed Competition:
No specific Level. All ages will be tested by reading with Tajweed from Surat Al-Kahf, Surah #18
Anyone is more than welcome to participate in both Memorization and Reading Competitions.
The results will be announced, and the prizes will be distributed during the Quran Celebration in Ramadan 1445H/ 2024, (The dates and Times will be announced later) In Shaa Allah.

We are excited to announce our new youth project that we ask Allah SWT to make it a step to inspire thousands of youth around the nation In Shaa Allah.
The Muslim Youth Magazine is a periodical E magazine that embraces a community of youth who aspire to develop their societies for the better, through which they discuss the challenges and questions they face, and empower Muslim Youth to create positive impact.
We hope that our talented youth (from High schools and Colleges Students) consider this opportunity to revive their hearts with Eman, power their minds with knowledge, improve their skills, and enjoy the positive teamwork environment.
Please review the following open positions to choose where you would like to volunteer:
- Editors. Editors check text for proper spelling and grammar.
- Writers. Writers will cover the assigned articles.
- Fact-checkers. Fact-checkers ensure that all the information and statistics in the articles are accurate. This role may be part of an editor’s duties, or it may be its own position.
- Graphic designers. Graphic designers work on specific articles or specific components of the magazine.
- Photo editors/researchers. Magazine photo and picture editors and researchers are responsible for selecting images and artwork to accompany a publication's articles. They may commission original work, or buy images and artwork from agencies, individual artists and photographers.
- Social media managers. This position manages the various social media platforms a publication has. They curate content and graphics that help promote the publication and its contents.
The Muslim Youth Magazine will be published online as PDF file every 3 months, and the first VOL will be in March 2023 In Shaa Allah.
Each VOL will discuss one challenge or question that can face Muslim Youth in USA, and try to find solutions that can help depending on Quran, Sunnah, Science, Statistic and Scholars.
This project will be supported by ISGL and Purdue MSA In Shaa Allah.

We are excited to invite you to join our Public Online Live Zoom Quran Journey, where you can dive into and learn from the gems of Surat Al-Hajj during the 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah. Experience the Barakah of the book of Allah and benefit from the insights and knowledge of your sisters:
